Ingredients
Method
- Brown hamburger, drain; transfer to crockpot. Cut the bacon into pieces and fry in the same skillet. Transfer to crock pot. Add all beans along with the other ingredients, adding any extras you like (ex: I add jalapeno pepper to mine when I feel like a spicier version). Cook for an hour and a half or so to let all the flavors marinate. I like to serve with hard rolls.
Notes
This recipe can be very versatile. Put in whatever beans you like. Sometimes I use 2 cans of pork and beans and 1 can of northern white beans. I also chop up onions and add as well as jalapeños if you like a little spice. This is a yummy dinner that everyone likes and is easy to make. Leftovers store easily in the frig and you can even freeze leftovers for a quick lunch idea.
